You hear 'Picture Day' and you're immediately brought back to that blue backdrop, with big lights in your face. 'Ok, look right here aaannnd... SMILE'. And then just as quickly as you sat down, you're rushed off for the next student to get their turn. Ugh, I cringe just thinking about it.

These school photos? They're not like that. They're the complete opposite, in fact. I place a huge emphasis on connection & playfulness. Of course, I'd love to get a big simile on their face, but only if that smile is genuine. Moms can always tell the difference. 

These are done outside, without a big set-up or backdrop. When it's your child's turn, I'll spend about  5 minutes with them, dancing around, singing songs, and sometimes our adventures take us up a tree or on the playground. No matter what,  I always meet your child where they're at. The result are timeless photos that are warm, honest, and real.

Once upon a time, I wanted to be a teacher but life had other plans. So, it only makes sense that I would find myself back in a classroom. When I'm with your kids, I'm on their level - we're playing together and laughing hard. I ask them about their favorite toys or something silly they like to do. Connection is my specialty - and school photos are such a fun way to showcase that.
