how this works

Family photography rooted in everyday moments, in lived-in spaces.

It takes courage to do this. To let someone into your life to witness and reflect it back. Most people can't do that.          They're waiting until their life, home, body looks different.

But, you're not waiting.

you're so cool.

SESSIONS

Sessions usually happen at your house, in the morning and are around two hours. Everything on film.

Outside works too when the place is genuinely yours. The trail you actually walk, the park you're at every Saturday anyway.

Photos come back within four weeks.

For the waiting, and the years that follow. Same house, same approach.

why film?

so tell me,

I like how film softens the light on your face. I like the warmth it gives your skin. I like that it can take an ordinary picture and give it more feeling and presence than it had.

Film feels more permanent somehow. More tangible. In a world where everything is on a screen, it feels good to step back toward something analog.

You’ll choose how your family wants the images to live after viewing your gallery, about 4 weeks after our session.

investment

The session fee is $600. Most families land between $1,000- $1,500 for their full experience.

LOVE NOTE FROM Katie & Grant

We'll treasure these forever. Seriously.

Some sessions I'm posing you. Some sessions I'm finding the light and letting you go. Usually the kids decide which.

LOVE NOTE FROM TAYLOR & ANDREW

My girls loved you. You made them feel seen, heard & loved. You are magic. Pure Magic.

Once you're booked, you have my attention. I'll be thinking about your light, your house, and what your family is like well before I show up.

Getting there is simple. Contact form, a note back from me within two days, a date, and the usual paperwork. Then a questionnaire, which is the part that matters. Come to it with something specific and I'll shape the morning around it.

what happens next?

work with me

Photographs are often what we return to as life moves on.

When time passes, homes change, and people are no longer close in the same way, images become a way of remembering what once felt ordinary. The details. The closeness. The proof that it all existed.

That’s why this work matters to me  -  and why it tends to matter more with time.

Big Hugs,

a final note

Ali
